Moewampum.com is a web site that advertises and sells racist T-shirts portraying Barack Obama as a monkey holding a banana, appearing similar to the children's storybook character Curious George.

Moe Wampum, Inc. is run by Gary Mittin and is registered as a 527 political organization. On June 11, 2008, ads featuring the racist monkey shirt appeared on The Raw Story, which later published an article about Moe Wampum. Ads also appeared on NewsBusters and Wonkette.

Wonkette editor Ken Layne was quoted on the matter saying:

The motherfucker submitted an ad with a standard hopeful Obama t-shirt, then switched it out for this racist bullshit. I approve all ads, myself. A monkey eating a banana captioned 'Obama' is not going to get by me, no matter how drunk I am.
